36 weeks

I decided I wanted to be born in Creston so I have hung on until now. Mum is going a little crazy, Leah says I will probably arrive very soon, but Mum has heard this for six weeks now so she is doesn't really believe it. At 36 weeks there is no more worry about me having any problems. I am still getting squeezed a lot enough to get mum back to hospital again, but they stopped. I have positioned myself as low as I can without going through that very tight space, which I am just not ready to go through yet. Yes that is a picture of my dad, thank god that look didn't last, he is now back to normal, shaved face and head. Mum is allowed to resume normal activities and she really enjoyed going swimming yesterday, it was sunny and it really helped stretch out her sore back. Hopefully my next post with have my beautiful pictures on it and not my crazy dad and fat mum!

34 weeks!!

So mum and me are back and Creston! Mum is so happy to be home and to sleep in her own bed. If I decide to come in the next couple weeks we will go to Trail Hospital, at 36 weeks I can be delivered at the Creston hospital. Mum is grateful that Dad won't miss my arrival, but he still looks really silly she hopes he gets out of this phase soon. I would like to thank Bryce and Laura for allowing us to stay at their house in Coquitlam, I think mum would have lost her mind in the hospital so she can't thank them enough. We would also like to thank Grandpa Jack for driving us to our doctors appointments and to the airport at a very early hour. Mum would also like to thank Auntie Cat for dropping everything and looking after mum at Bryce's house, she is sorry if she bugged her too much but you can't say enough about nicely waxed eye brows, plus she was bored what else did she have to do? So mum still has to take it easy but she is allowed to get up more which is nice. Dad did all the gardening so that looks really good, but my room still is a disaster so mum will try to do a little each day between laying down rests and get everything put away and ready.

P.S. Stop trying to get my name out of Mum she is not telling!

My Dad looks like a freak!

So not much has changed since my post. I have decided to stay in here a little longer. Dad looks too scary, I don't want to come out until he looks better. Before Dad left and mum was having lots of contractions he thought that maybe we should discuss what my name should be. Mum had already decided without him so she was a little peeved that he wanted to discuss it then, but that is pretty typical of Dad, he is a major procrastinator. He didn't mind the boy name mum picked out but he hated the girl name so they agreed on a new girl name, but they still are not telling anyone so you have to wait to find out. The picture of mom is pretty much what she does all day long everyday, pretty boring. The contractions are continuing to happen, we went to the hospital last Tuesday because the contractions were regular, at hospital they found that mum was a little more dilated at 2cm and the cervix was even shorter less than half a cm, but the contractions stopped on their own and we went home. It is a little hard because with all these starts and stops it is hard to know when Dad should come back from Creston. Auntie Cat is looking after mom, going to the store to get decaf frappuccinos, cooking and keeping her company. Last Friday mum got a tour of the nicu. There were lots of babies in there. They showed her two babies the same age as me, one was a good size and was breathing fine, just having some feeding problems, the other was quite small and had more issues. The doctors and nurses still all think I will arrive soon, but its anyones guess and to when. On Tuesday I will 33 weeks. If I don't decide to come next week then Mum will probably go home May 13th or 14th. I will be 34 weeks then and can be delivered at the Trail hospital. There is still some discussion surrounding this so details will be worked out closer to the time. Thats all for now I will keep you updated.
